Thanks for putting on a pretty nice party at the Oxwood two weeks ago. I’m sorry for posting these pictures so late, but things have been pretty hectic in my neck of the woods. I hope these pictures are okay.

Many of you will notice the quality of the pictures increase as the gallery goes on. That’s because I used three different cameras! Actually I used four; I also shot some video with an iPod nano. That will come soon enough as well.

How is THIS to start off the last month of the year?

I don’t get to The Oxwood as often as before anymore. Not that work is keeping me away; I’ve just been hanging out with other folks at different places. Since this IS the summertime, many parties are going on…and considering I have friends in many places outside of LA (San Diego comes to mind), I’ve been going there instead. I’ve also been spending a bit more time with the family.

When I DO hit up The Oxwood, I’m sure to have my camera. This particular night I had my flagship with me, flash and all. I still didn’t take as many pictures as I’d like to, mainly because I was doing more mingling and such. Here is a sampling of what I DID take.

A shout-out to Kevin, Scott, Rhonda, Haven, Aubrey…just everyone who let me take a picture of them!

I’m supposed to be in Thousand Oaks tonight, so I might NOT be there. If my plans change, I hope to see everyone!

These pictures were taken the weekend before last…with my old Canon SX10is. For those of you who don’t know, that’s the camera I used a LOT at Cobra and Blue Moon Nights. I stopped using it because I got my DSLR which takes MUCH better pictures. However, I was recently playing around with the old school when I decided to take it with me to The Oxwood.

Now…originally I was going to use my ring flash on it. Unfortunately, the batteries inside the CAMERA went dead, so I decided to leave it in the car. My buddy Al (from Altomic Visuals) convinced me to bring it in. Sooo…here are the few pictures I (and Scott) snapped with it. Hey…it was unplanned!

Personally I still don’t like the overall quality of the pictures…especially since I’ve been spoiled with my DSLR. I’m sure some of you will still like them though. That’s why I’m posting them!

I might be there again this coming weekend. If I do go, I’ll be sure to bring my DSLR!
